You all know my name for sure but who is behind that name?
Let's find out:

Climbing up the Ladder‌‌

My first job was for a B2B Company which sold household stuff and garden furniture. I was basically a rack jobber. Not satisfied I took a job with a little bit less earnings at a different company. I was quite successful there, moving from customer service to organizing their trade fair to head of a department called "customizing" all within 5 years.

A few Steps back‌‌

I thought I made from my point of view. I had  team with 3 people and I was responsible for them. A dream came true. However, things change and so did the management of the company. I really struggled with their attitude. They basically destroyed the team spirit I build up. After talking to a lot of people I decided to take a step "back". I quit my job for the idea of studying "engineering and business administration". But without the necessary requirements it was almost impossible to get enrolled, at least in Bavaria. I almost declined the idea of studying. But then I found out that other regions in Germany are not as restricted as Bavaria is. So I called the university of applied sciences in Berlin. That guy on the phone told me basically "well if you screw up, it's our problem not ours". So I took the chance! I wasn't even enrolled when I quit my job and moved from a small town in Bavaria to Berlin.

The Journey begins‌‌

Luckily I got a spot at the University of applied Science in Berlin. ‌‌This was the start of my journey. ‌‌This was the new input that lead to a better understanding of things from the past.‌‌ This was the point where I learned new things. ‌‌This was the point where I began to evolve.

Don't get me wrong, I am not the best project leader out there for sure. I've made so many mistakes during different projects you guys wouldn't have done probably. However, I think I should share everything I learn cause it might help you avoid the same mistakes I did.
